The Chevy Impala has a sleeker look, especially when compared to its previous versions, but the Chrysler 300 for sale wins in this category. Short windows and a bold front fascia give the 300 a distinguished look that is sure to turn heads. If you care to stand out even more, choose one of the many attractive paint colors available like Velvet Red, Granite Crystal, or Green Metallic.

We are certainly biased, as we are a Chrysler dealer. But you need to decide for yourself when on the market for a new vehicle. That's why we wrote this Chrysler 300 vs Chevrolet Impala comparison article.

Looks could be deceiving so, let's take a look at what's under the hood. The new Chryselr 300 boasts a Pentastar V6 engine while the Impala is equipped with a standard 4 cylinder motor. Therefore, if you are concerned about fuel economy, you should take a look at the Chevy. If saving a few cents at the pump is not your top priority and want to enjoy the ride, go with Chrysler.

All three trims of the Chevrolet Impala feature front-wheel drive unlike the Chrysler 300 that features rear-wheel drive and has an AWD system as an option. Yes, you'll have to pay extra to get it but the good news is you'll be conserving fuel since the Chrysler-engineered AWD system comes with an axle-disconnect function.

An interesting fact that not that many people know is that many of the Chrysler 300 mechanical components were actually derived from the old Mercedes-Benz E-Class, so expect the Chrysler 300 to deliver more of a luxurious ride.

What about the Chevy Impala? It handles the road quite well, too. It soaks up the street like a genuine luxury sedan. This is a big plus for the folks who will be taking a lot of road trips. Some people go as far as to say that the car is big enough to seat professional NBA players.

It's a shame though, that the interior of the Impala looks and feels cheap. This is where the Chrysler 300 offers a bit more luxury than its competitors, especially the Chrysler 300 higher trim levels. Featuring heated/ventilated front seats and heated rear seats, the Chrysler 300 Limited has the feel of a premium luxury car.

In conclusion, If you want to save a few dollars go with the Chevrolet Impala but if you're looking for an upscale large sedan with a roomy interior and strong powertrain options the Chrysler 300 should be your first choice.
